Michael Young was invited to display his works by the Shizuoka Prefecture festival at the Shizuoka castle.

A beautiful location close to Mt. Fuji in Japan. Michael designed an installation of Sticklight that was placed both inside the castle keep and around the castle grounds. The event ran from February 15th to 17th and Innermost are planning other installations later in the year to show off the new outdoor version of Stick.

2008 marks the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Britain and Japan and a series of events are planned throughout the year by both governments. Innermost will be showing Stick and other products at Tokyo’s DesignTide event in November. Watch the exhibitions section for location and exact dates.
