Innermost, the London and Hong Kong based lighting, furniture and interior accessories design group, launched Tie by Peter Mac Cann / Made* as part of its 2009 Lighting Collection.
Tie recently won a Homes and Gardens Classic Design Award 2009. 
 
Homes & Gardens joined forces with the Victoria and Albert Museum and H.R.H. The Prince of Wales, to establish the Classic Design Awards. Over the past ten years the awards have underscored the flourishing state of Britain's design tradition. According to Innermost co-founder, Russell Cameron, “The Homes and Gardens Classic Design Awards recognises the weight of design talent of companies and designers based and trained in the UK, and strengthens the perception of the British design industry in both local and international circles.”
 
Tie pendant is a steel and aluminium construction consisting of concentric, roll-formed panels painted in two tones. Steve Jones, also a co-founder of Innermost, is particularly excited about this new collaboration with Peter Mac Cann and Made* - “their designs have a simple but elegant engineered quality that hides the complexity that goes into creating them”. In future, the Tie series will be enlarged to include a floor lamp, a wall lamp and a mini pendant.
